Kodokan Judo represented Florida by competiting in the 7th Annual USJA/JF Winter Nationals in California on December 1st and 2nd. 13 students competed and managed to take home the glory of placing 5th as a team out of 86 dojos.

Eleven Kodokan Judo students competed in the Team Championships Judo Tournament in Delray Beach walking away with 8 first place, 3 second place, 2 third place and the 3rd place team trophy which came with a $100 award.

On November 3, 2012 Kodokan Judo hosted an Invitational Dojo Judo Tournament. Four dojos participated with 70 competitors. Kodokan Judo scored 104 points taking a first place team victory while Real Judo of Naples took second with 59 points. Sasaki Judo of Tampa placed 3rd and Iron Judo of Miami came in 4th.
During the event Kodokan Judo accepted donations for the Hurricane Sandy vicitims in New York and New Jersey. A special thanks to all those that contributed!
